The head of Finance, Changpeng Zhao, has become the richest person in the world of cryptocurrencies with a fortune of $96 billion, excluding digital assets that he can own. Bloomberg writes about this.
In the agency's rating, Zhao was ahead of Indian business magnate Mukesh Ambani, whose fortune is estimated at $92.9 billion. However, the head of Finance may have a much larger fortune, since he owns crypto assets.
In November last year, Zhao stated that he bought bitcoins in 2014 and holds most of them now. At the same time, he is ready to sacrifice almost all of his fortune, since he considers himself a financially independent person.
Two creators of cryptocurrencies announced their withdrawal from the market in July last year. Ethereum co-founder Anthony Di Iorio explained this with fear for his life, Dogecoin developer Jackson Palmer, in turn, called the cryptocurrency a fraud.
