A video of Boris Johnson dancing has surfaced online amid allegations of an illegal party

A video of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson dancing has appeared and been widely circulated on social media. It was reported by HuffPost.

It shows Johnson dancing with a woman holding a lightsaber from "Star Wars" to Lionel Richie's song All Night Long. The exact time when the video was shot is unknown, but journalist Henry Dyer speculated that it was recorded in 2013 when Johnson was mayor of London.

A clip of the politician dancing was posted online amid a new scandal surrounding Johnson's involvement in an illegal party in Downing Street on April 16, 2022, the day before Prince Philip's funeral.

In addition, on December 20, another party in Downing Street was revealed to have been thrown by the Prime Minister's residence on May 20, 2020, in the midst of a lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Guardian published a photo showing Johnson and his wife Carrie sitting at a table, with two other people sitting next to them without keeping a social distance.

On Jan. 12, Boris Johnson admitted to attending the May 20, 2020, Downing Street celebration. According to the prime minister, he came to the party because he wanted to "thank government employees" and left after 25 minutes to return to work.

Earlier it was reported that London police refused to investigate the May 20, 2020, party. Scotland Yard said it was not investigating "anti-code law violations that came to light long after they occurred."
