In iOS 15.1, the annoying feature will be disabled

Apple has released an update of the beta version of iOS 15.1 for developers, which disables automatic switching off the camera to macro mode when taking photos, reports 9to5mac.

The first buyers of the iPhone 13 Pro and ProMax were unhappy with the lack of choice and the annoying effect of switching the camera module. The automatic change of modules in the Camera application occurs when the object is being photographed and videotaped, however, for the video mode there is an option in the settings to "Lock the camera", and for the photo mode, such a function is not provided. After the mass discontent of users, Apple explained that this was not a bug, but a software feature of the smartphone, but promised to add a mode switch for those who found it inconvenient.

The release date of the final version of iOS 15.1 is currently unknown.
